History

Back in 2004 the founders of the Wellness Tree Community Clinic, John and Sandra Sexton, and Dr. Rick Sandison MD, felt called to help underserved patients in our community who lacked the health insurance and the financial resources required to obtain the health care services they needed. These three Christian volunteers recruited and inspired others, such as Dr. David McClusky II, who partnered with them to birth what is now an Idaho Registered Free Clinic health clinic which still operates in Twin Falls.

The clinic first provided free medical care on a small scale inside the Mustard Seed Thrift Store. But the clinic quickly outgrew the space available inside the thrift store and so management determined to open a stand-alone clinic in a larger space which would accommodate a higher volume of patients and services.

The Wellness Tree Community Clinic is now a stand-alone 501(c)(3) organization which services patients from seven counties. We strive to create a caring and welcoming environment as we provide a variety of free medical and dental services. We work to help underserved patients in our region in whatever ways we can.
